For LGBT Seniors

We believe age is no barrier to participation in all aspects of LGBT life — social and political. But older people do have some special needs and today more and more places have social service and socializing centers for LGBT older people. Some places, such as Philadelphia, have developed dedicated housing for us.

Services & Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Elders (SAGE) has a list of national programs on their website, including a National Resource Center on LGBT Aging. Go to: http://www.sageusa.org/programs/index.cfm.
